A big, juicy, vibrant coffee; this lot from Odaco is your typical Natural Ethiopian fruit bomb.

A village in Shantawene, the name ‘Odaco’ comes from the large fig tree where the community gathers. The local farmers are registered with Daye Bensa coffee, and deliver this 74158 varietal to a central processing hub at Gatta farm. The cherries undergo a natural fermentation process, where they are dried on raised beds for a minimum of three weeks. During this process, the coffee is handpicked to remove unwanted defects such as under-ripening or damaged cherries. It is also covered during the hottest midday hours to protect the coffee. This is a true showcase of the brilliant producers’ meticulous attention to detail.
